Do you also see parents of the teens you work with?
Nope. Not unless there's an emergency. This raises the anxiety of some parents - which is understandable- so to mediate that I require at least 1 parent-training session with a colleague if you want your teen or adult child to work with me. That way, she and I can consult on how to help without jeopardizing the trust between myself and your kid.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance, and am classified as an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans.
I will provide a "super-bill" to you once I receive your monthly payment, and you may submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. You may also be able to submit these invoices to your HSA/flex-spending account for reimbursement. What type of payment do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, and Venmo.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours advance notice to avoid billing you for the full cost of the session. I will do my best to reschedule you if I have openings in the week, but as my current participants know....I almost never have openings.
